corbusier contemporaries

[Vi & Joseph] Corbusier Contemporaries

This museum exhibition at the H&R Block Art Space is a tribute to Le Corbusier's 19th Century architecture and how it has influenced and inspired the progressive architecture that we see today. Corbusier's five points focus on how support structures give freedom of space for open floor plans and for free facades of a structure. He stresses the value and benefits of a rooftop garden and how light and windows can be used to open a space. This exhibition compares how today's architecture has adopted and adapted Corbusier's architectural dogma. Using an iPhone, the visitors can also scan QR codes for more information as well as additional imagery of the pictured architecture.
