all the things noted, we could potentially consider doing:
__
Frieze Art Fair:.they had a temporary structure
.the print material was based on their setting in regent park (photos of the park)
.they used color to signify different categories of the show
.cardboard boxes for signs
__
MoMA QNS:
.the theme concentrated on the idea of 'the move' - motion. we could have type in motion...
.they re-developed the old signage and put signage up in different notable places
.they had promotional material in strategic locations.
.they made use of pictograms. we could have 'expressional pictograms' or just pertinent insightful imagery.
.they used silkscreen signage. we could make a point of using more tactile ... tangential signage ... 3D promotional material!? or just like clothy material stuff; whose to say we need to print on pamphlet size paper. our theme could roughly be tangential/something dadada typography...
.they used the imagery of their galleries as promotional material
__
Stedelijk Museum CS
.were going for look of 'immediacy' in title so they abbreviated to simplify
.wanted to get the idea of swift motion in their logo — had connotations of physical objects which informed their typeface (which in this case was airmail envelopes).
.they used the lines because they were visually associated with the stedelijk museum. we could consider what visually represents us as a school, and as a group.
__
Walker Art Center:
.designed a specific typeface which could be used and changed if desired, specifically for this art center. - a flexible - interchangeable typeface that was used as a brand identity.
. they could put their signs in so many mediums due to it's flexibility - it was able to be put into print, on screen and things. flexibility for multimedia
